The 'Beaune du Château' has been a signature cuvée of Bouchard Père & Fils since 1907. This unique Premier Cru is a masterful blend of several of the estate's Beaune Premier Cru parcels—often encompassing up to 17 different climats, such as Les Teurons, Les Tuvilains, and Les Aigrots. Each parcel is vinified separately to preserve its distinct terroir characteristics before being artfully blended. This historic practice allows the house to craft a wine that represents a harmonious synthesis of the entire Beaune appellation, balancing structure, elegance, and vibrant fruit. The wine is aged in French oak barrels within the historic subterranean cellars of the 15th-century Château de Beaune, resulting in a refined, velvety texture with notes of dark berries, subtle spices, and delicate toast.
