Housed in the ancient, subterranean cellars of the Château de Beaune—a 15th-century royal fortress with walls up to seven meters thick—these wines benefit from a naturally perfect, unchanging microclimate. Crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir, this collection celebrates the pinnacle of Burgundian terroir. The grapes are meticulously sorted, traditionally fermented, and aged in fine French oak barrels. Bouchard Père & Fils blev grundlagt i 1731 af Michel Bouchard og er et af Bourgognes ældste og mest agtede vinhuse, med base i det historiske Château de Beaune fra det 15. århundrede. Gennem næsten tre århundreders omhyggelige opkøb har vinhuset opbygget en enestående mosaik af vinmarker, som i dag dækker omkring 130 hektar i Côte d'Or, herunder en lang række prestigefyldte Grand Cru- og Premier Cru-parceller.
