Hailing from one of Burgundy's most venerable houses, Bouchard Père et Fils, established in 1731, 'Memories, The Ultimate Collection' represents an extraordinary curation of the estate's finest Grand Cru red wines sourced from legendary parcels along the Côte d'Or. Housed in the ancient, subterranean cellars of the Château de Beaune—a 15th-century royal fortress with walls up to seven meters thick—these wines benefit from a naturally perfect, unchanging microclimate. Crafted exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir, this collection celebrates the pinnacle of Burgundian terroir. The grapes are meticulously sorted, traditionally fermented, and aged in fine French oak barrels. This wine weaves a rich historical narrative of monastic heritage, royal patronage, and centuries of viticultural mastery, delivering a profound sensory journey marked by complex forest floor, dried red fruits, and exquisite spice.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1731 by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest and most revered wine houses, headquartered at the historic 15th-century Château de Beaune. Over nearly three centuries of meticulous acquisition, the estate assembled an extraordinary mosaic of vineyards spanning roughly 130 hectares across the Côte d'Or, notably including prestigious Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels. The house is dedicated to parcel-by-parcel vinification and careful oak aging within its subterranean fortress cellars, highlighting the subtle nuances of individual climats. World-renowned for its elegance, structure, and terroir transparency, Bouchard Père & Fils produces celebrated Pinot Noir benchmarks such as the iconic Beaune Grèves Vigne de L'Enfant Jésus alongside legendary Chardonnay masterworks from Corton-Charlemagne and Chevalier-Montrachet.
