Crafted by the historic house of Bouchard Pere et Fils, established in 1731 and headquartered in the historic Chateau de Beaune, the Saint-Pierre cuvee is a beautiful testament to the classic style of regional white Burgundy. Named in honor of Saint Peter, the patron saint of vintners, this 100% Chardonnay is sourced from carefully selected vineyards across the region to capture the essence of Burgundy's limestone-rich soils. To preserve its vibrant fruit character while introducing a subtle complexity, the winemakers utilize a combination of stainless steel vats for fermentation and a period of aging in French oak barrels. This harmonious approach yields a wine that marries bright citrus and green apple notes with a delicate, buttery roundness and a clean, mineral finish, carrying forward nearly three centuries of Burgundian winemaking heritage.

Bouchard Père & Fils blev grundlagt i 1731 af Michel Bouchard og er et af Bourgognes ældste og mest agtede vinhuse, med base i det historiske Château de Beaune fra det 15. århundrede. Gennem næsten tre århundreders omhyggelige opkøb har vinhuset opbygget en enestående mosaik af vinmarker, som i dag dækker omkring 130 hektar i Côte d'Or, herunder en lang række prestigefyldte Grand Cru- og Premier Cru-parceller. Husets filosofi bygger på parcel-for-parcel-vinificering og en nænsom fadlagring i de underjordiske fæstningskældre, hvilket bringer de enkelte climats subtile nuancer frem i lyset.
