This Nebbiolo Rosato showcases a modern Australian interpretation of a classic Italian style. Nebbiolo, famous for its role in Piedmont's structured reds, is harvested early for this rosé to retain its high natural acidity and delicate red-fruit aromas. The wine undergoes brief skin contact to achieve its signature pale salmon hue, followed by cool fermentation to preserve its vibrant, savory, and floral character. It represents Brokenwood's innovative spirit, blending traditional European grape varieties with contemporary Australian winemaking.

Established in 1970 by Sydney lawyers Tony Albert, John Beeston, and acclaimed wine critic James Halliday, Brokenwood Wines began on a modest 10-acre block in Pokolbin within the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. Guided for decades by veteran managing director and chief winemaker Iain Riggs, the estate evolved from a passionate weekend venture into one of Australia's most prestigious and benchmark wine producers.
