Cantine Nicosia's Alantaria Brut is a sparkling celebration of Sicily's indigenous Insolia grape. Sourced from selected vineyards across the sun-drenched hills of Sicily, this wine captures the vibrant, maritime-influenced terroir of the island. Crafted using the Martinotti (Charmat) method, the winemaking process focuses on preserving the primary fruit aromas and crisp acidity inherent to the Insolia variety, a grape with ancient roots in Sicilian viticulture dating back to antiquity. The result is an elegant, lively sparkling wine characterized by a fine perlage, delicate floral bouquet, and bright notes of green apple, citrus, and Mediterranean herbs, reflecting the historic winery's dedication to showcasing native Sicilian grapes in contemporary, expressive styles.
