This Pinot Nero is a fascinating Sicilian interpretation of the classic Burgundian grape, cultivated in high-altitude volcanic vineyards where the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts and mineral-rich soils allow this delicate variety to thrive. Fermented in stainless steel and aged partially in oak, it showcases a refined balance of bright red fruit, subtle spice, and a distinctive volcanic minerality that sets it apart from continental expressions.

Cantine Nicosia er en historisk siciliansk vingård, grundlagt i 1898 af Francesco Nicosia og beliggende på Etnas østlige skråninger i Trecastagni. Gennem fem generationer i familiens eje har vinhuset etableret sig som en passioneret ambassadør for Siciliens vulkanske terroir og oprindelige druesorter – altid med fokus på certificeret økologisk vindyrkning og moderne, bæredygtig vinfremstilling.
