Cantine Nicosia's Vulka Rosso is a vibrant tribute to the primordial energy of Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano. The name 'Vulka' itself evokes the fiery origins of the black volcanic sands and mineral-rich soils from which these vines draw their unique character. Crafted from the indigenous Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes grown on the high-altitude slopes, this wine undergoes careful vinification to preserve its bright red fruit profile, elegant minerality, and distinctive volcanic signature. The ancient viticultural heritage of the region, where vines have been cultivated in the shadow of the volcano for millennia, is reflected in the wine's striking tension, wild herb aromas, and fine-grained tannins.
