Hailing from the prestigious Los Lingues estate nestled at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the Colchagua Valley, Casa Silva's Gran Reserva Petit Verdot is a masterful expression of a grape traditionally relegated to minor blending roles in Bordeaux. In this unique microclimate, characterized by warm days and cooling nocturnal alpine breezes, the late-ripening Petit Verdot achieves perfect phenolic maturity. The Silva family, drawing on over a century of Chilean winemaking heritage, was among the first in the region to showcase this variety as a single-varietal bottling. Aged in French oak, this wine is celebrated for its deep violet hue, robust structure, and a complex aromatic profile of dark forest fruits, graphite, and wild herbs.
