Hailing from Chile's prestigious Colchagua Valley, the Casa Silva Reserva Cuvee Colchagua Carmenere celebrates the dramatic resurrection of a grape once thought extinct in Europe. Carmenere, famously rediscovered in Chile in 1994 after being mistaken for Merlot for decades, has found its spiritual home in Colchagua's warm, sun-drenched vineyards. Casa Silva, a historic family estate with roots dating back to 1892, has been at the forefront of researching this variety's micro-terroirs.
