The Adrianna Vineyard, situated at an extreme altitude of almost 5,000 feet in Gualtallary, Tupungato, is widely regarded as South America's Grand Cru. Named after Nicolás Catena's youngest daughter, this legendary site was planted in 1992 during a quest to find cooler climates, defying contemporary beliefs that grapes could not ripen at such heights.
