Hailing from the Sylvanus Vineyard, planted in 1999 in the Bridgehampton silt loam soils of Long Island's South Fork, this unique Rosato is a testament to Channing Daughters' adventurous spirit. The wine is made from Franconia, the northern Italian name for the Blaufränkisch grape, reflecting the winery's deep admiration for the alpine and maritime wines of Friuli. Benefiting from the cooling breezes of the nearby Atlantic Ocean and Peconic Bay, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing to create a dry, pale, and highly aromatic rosé.
