In the historic cellars of Château de Marsannay, the ancient Burgundian tradition of artisanal distillation is preserved through their '10 Ans d'Age' eau-de-vie. Typically crafted as a Marc de Bourgogne from the pomace of Pinot Noir grapes, or as a Fine de Bourgogne from high-quality wine lees, this spirit represents a decade of patient maturation. Distilled in traditional copper stills, the young spirit is laid to rest in French oak casks for at least ten years. Over this decade-long slumber in the estate's cool cellars, the fiery spirit mellows, absorbing rich amber hues, woody tannins, and complex aromas of dried stone fruits, toasted nuts, honey, and sweet spices, offering a profound reflection of Burgundy's ancestral craftsmanship.

Situated in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, Château de Marsannay is a premier Burgundy estate with a rich heritage, currently owned by Olivier Halley who acquired the property in 2012. The estate manages approximately 40 hectares of meticulously farmed vineyards, spanning prestigious appellations from Marsannay to Gevrey-Chambertin and the Grand Cru Echezeaux. Committed to organic viticulture, the château employs traditional Burgundian vinification methods, aging its wines in French oak casks to express the precise nuances of each unique climat. Château de Marsannay is particularly celebrated for its diverse portfolio, which uniquely includes exceptional red, white, and rosé expressions, such as the historic En Montre Cul and Les Echezots.
