Created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Compass Box in 2015, Hedonism Quindecimus is a limited-edition blended grain Scotch whisky that showcases the heights grain whisky can achieve. Historically relegated to the background of blended Scotch, grain whisky is elevated to an art form here by founder John Glaser. This expression is a masterfully curated marriage of grain whiskies from various distilleries, including Port Dundas, Dumbarton, North British, and Loch Lomond, aged in first-fill American oak barrels and rejuvenated hogsheads. The name 'Quindecimus' represents the fifteen years of creative blending that redefined the whisky landscape, offering a remarkably deep, decadent profile of rich vanilla, coconut, and tropical fruit notes.

Established in 2000 by visionary blender John Glaser, Compass Box is an independent boutique Scotch whiskymaking house dedicated to reimagining the traditions of blending. Operating out of its blending studio in Richmond, London, with warehouse maturation bases in Scotland, the firm approaches Scotch with the exacting philosophy of an artisan winemaker. Rather than relying on standard industrial recipes, Compass Box sources premier malt and grain distillates across Scotland, aging them in bespoke cooperage using toasted virgin French and American oak to highlight distinct structural and aromatic elements. Known for its staunch campaign for radical transparency, Compass Box crafts expressive, non-chill-filtered bottlings free of artificial coloring.
