Concha y Toro's Trio range is founded on the expressive art of blending, where three distinct grape varieties are carefully selected to create a wine greater than the sum of its parts. Sourced from the diverse microclimates of Chile's Central Valley, the Trio Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon utilizes Cabernet Sauvignon as its powerful, structured backbone, complemented by the aromatic elegance of Cabernet Franc and the plush, spicy fruit of Syrah. The Central Valley's Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool night breezes sweeping down from the Andes, allows these grapes to ripen slowly, preserving vibrant acidity and developing soft, well-integrated tannins. Aged partially in oak barrels, this wine offers a harmonious balance of black fruit, subtle spice, and structured elegance, embodying the innovative spirit of one of Chile's most historic winemaking families.

Viña Concha y Toro blev grundlagt i 1883 af Don Melchor de Concha y Toro og hans hustru Emiliana Subercaseaux. Vinhuset er i dag Chiles mest fremtrædende producent og en absolut hjørnesten i sydamerikansk vinhistorie. Hovedsædet ligger i Pirque i den historiske Maipo Valley, og ejendommens fundament blev lagt med ædle franske vinstokke hentet direkte fra Bordeaux. Siden har porteføljen bredt sig til Chiles bedste dale, lige fra Limarí til Peumo. Concha y Toro forener banebrydende vinvidenskab med et kompromisløst fokus på bæredygtighed, og husets vine afspejler på smukkeste vis de alsidige mikroklimaer og jordbunde i Central Valley, Aconcagua og de sydlige regioner.
