The lieu-dit Belzbrunnen, whose name translates to 'beautiful fountain' and carries historical whispers of Belenus, the Celtic god of light, is a highly regarded vineyard site situated at the foot of the Grand Cru Spiegel in Bergholtz. Domaine Dirler-Cadé crafts this dry Riesling from certified biodynamic plots where the vines dig deep into sandy-clay and limestone-rich soils. Utilizing traditional horse-drawn plowing to preserve soil structure and promote biodiversity, the estate coaxes an incredibly pure expression of terroir from the grapes.
