The 2019 Romanée-Conti Grand Cru represents the absolute pinnacle of Burgundy, born from a legendary 1.81-hectare monopole vineyard with a history of viticulture dating back to the Roman era. In 2019, a warm and remarkably dry growing season yielded tiny, concentrated berries of exceptional health and balance. The wine was crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, fermented in open-top wooden vats, and aged for nearly two years in entirely new French oak barrels. This vintage is characterized by its ethereal, multi-layered aromatic complexity—ranging from crushed rose petals and exotic spices to dark red berries and forest floor—underpinned by an astonishingly silky, weightless structure and a finish that lingers for minutes. It is a monumental expression of a historic terroir meeting a stellar vintage.
