🍾 About the Producer
Domaine Louis Boillot was established in the early 2000s when vigneron Louis Boillot, continuing a multi-generational family winemaking legacy originally rooted in Volnay, established his operations in Chambolle-Musigny alongside his partner, acclaimed winemaker Ghislaine Barthod. The domaine commands an enviable collection of exceptionally old vines spanning both the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, encompassing prestigious parcels in Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Volnay, and Pommard. Employing meticulous vineyard management and non-interventionist cellar practices, Boillot focuses on gentle extraction and balanced oak maturation to let each distinct terroir shine. The resulting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottlings are renowned for their aromatic purity, velvety textures, and quintessential Burgundian finesse.
