Domaine Zind Humbrecht's Wintzenheim Gewurztraminer is a masterful expression of one of Alsace's most aromatic noble grapes, grown in the warm, gravelly, and limestone-silt soils of the Wintzenheim basin. This unique terroir, combined with the estate's strict biodynamic farming and slow, indigenous yeast fermentations, yields a Gewurztraminer of immense character. Historically, the sun-drenched slopes of Wintzenheim have been prized since Roman times for producing wines of exceptional ripeness and aromatic intensity. This cuvée captures that heritage, offering a rich, textured palate bursting with classic notes of lychee, rose petals, and exotic baking spices, balanced by a fine, mineral-driven structure. It represents a harmonious bridge between the grape's natural opulence and the estate's signature precision.

Formed in 1959 through the merger of two historic winegrowing families, Domaine Zind Humbrecht is located in Turckheim, Alsace, and is globally revered as a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture, having achieved certification in 1997 under the stewardship of Olivier Humbrecht MW. The estate meticulously manages legendary grand cru and single-vineyard sites, including Clos Windsbuhl, Clos Hauserer, and Hengst, where low yields and slow, natural fermentations preserve the pure expression of the terroir. Renowned for its uncompromising commitment to quality, the domaine produces highly concentrated, complex white wines from Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer, ranging from bone-dry expressions to legendary late-harvest Vendanges Tardives and botrytized Sélection de Grains Nobles.
