The Dominion Tantara Talley Rincon Vineyard Pinot Noir is a masterful expression of one of the Central Coast's most historic winegrowing sites. Located in the Arroyo Grande Valley, the Rincon Vineyard was first planted by the pioneering Talley family in 1982. This unique site is defined by its shallow, calcareous clay loam soils and its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, which funnels cool marine breezes and morning fog through the valley. Dominion Tantara utilizes traditional French winemaking techniques, including gentle open-top fermentation and aging in select French oak barrels, to preserve the vineyard's distinctive voice. The resulting Pinot Noir is celebrated for its remarkable balance, combining bright red fruit and dark cherry notes with deep earthy undertones, chalky minerality, and a refined structure that reflects its coastal origin.
