The HD Reserva Malbec is a deeply personal creation by winemaker Hector Durigutti, designed to showcase the unique, high-altitude terroir of Paraje Altamira in Mendoza's Uco Valley. Sourced from old vines planted at approximately 1,100 meters above sea level, this wine benefits from extreme diurnal temperature shifts and complex, stony soils rich in calcium carbonate. The winemaking process respects the fruit and its origin, utilizing native yeasts and concrete vessels for fermentation before aging in French oak barrels. This approach yields a Malbec defined by its chalky minerality, vibrant dark fruit, and elegant structure, representing a refined, terroir-driven expression of Argentina's signature grape.
