The Le Gallais estate, managed by the legendary Egon Müller family since 1954, is synonymous with the Wiltinger Braune Kupp vineyard. Situated on a steep, south-facing amphitheater along the Saar River, this site is distinguished by its iron-rich red slate soils, which yield a warmer, more exotic, and structurally opulent Riesling than the cooler blue slate of Scharzhofberg. The 'Auktion' bottling represents the absolute pinnacle of the estate's selection, destined exclusively for the prestigious annual VDP Grosser Ring auction in Trier. Crafted from meticulously hand-selected grapes heavily influenced by noble rot, this Auslese is fermented in traditional old oak Fuder casks.
