Egon Müller’s Scharzhofberger Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese (TBA) represents the absolute pinnacle of sweet winemaking, born from one of the wine world's most hallowed terroirs. Located in the chilly Saar valley of the Mosel region, the legendary Scharzhofberg vineyard features steep, south-facing slopes rich in grey and red Devonian slate, including prized parcels of centenarian, ungrafted Riesling vines. The estate's history is deeply intertwined with monastic heritage, having been cultivated by the Benedictine monks of St. Paulin before the Müller family acquired the estate in 1797.
