Crafted by the legendary Egon Müller at the historic Le Gallais estate, which the Müller family acquired in 1954, the Wiltinger Braune Kupp Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel is a masterclass in Saar Riesling. The Braune Kupp vineyard, situated on a steep, south-facing amphitheater of iron-rich, reddish-brown slate along the Saar River, yields grapes of extraordinary intensity. The Goldkapsel designation denotes an exceptionally rigorous selection of botrytized grapes, harvested by hand in multiple passes. Vinified in traditional old oak Fuder casks, this wine achieves a sublime tension between luscious, honeyed tropical sweetness and a piercing, mineral-driven acidity that is the hallmark of the estate's cool-climate terroir.
