Unlike the cooler grey slate of the legendary Scharzhofberg, the 'brown crest' of Braune Kupp yields a Riesling with a warmer, slightly more exotic fruit profile, balanced by a razor-sharp, electric acidity. Crafted with minimalist intervention and fermented in traditional oak Fuder, this Kabinett captures the ethereal play between delicate natural sweetness, low alcohol, and intense slate minerality. Weingut Egon Müller-Scharzhof traces its heritage to 1797 when Jean-Jacques Koch acquired the historic estate, nestled in Wiltingen along the Saar valley within Germany's famed Mosel region.
