Emiliana's Adobe Reserva Carmenere is a tribute to Chile's traditional earth-and-straw building material, reflecting the winery's deep-rooted commitment to organic viticulture and ecological harmony. Crafted from grapes grown in the fertile soils of Chile's Central Valley, this wine celebrates the dramatic history of Carmenere—the 'lost grape of Bordeaux' that was famously rediscovered in Chile in 1994 after being mistaken for Merlot for over a century. Emiliana coaxes the natural expressive character of the grape through sustainable farming, utilizing natural predators instead of chemical pesticides and maintaining cover crops to nourish the soil. The resulting wine is aged briefly to preserve its vibrant, fruit-forward identity, showcasing the classic spicy and herbal nuances that define Chilean Carmenere.
