Hailing from the cool-climate Aconcagua Costa region, Errazuriz's Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a testament to the estate's pioneering spirit in exploring coastal terroirs. Sourced primarily from the Manzanar Vineyard, located just 12 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, the vines benefit from the chilling influence of the Humboldt Current. Morning mists and cool ocean breezes slow down the ripening process, allowing the grapes to develop intense aromatic complexity while retaining a vibrant, crisp acidity. The soils, rich in metamorphic slate and schist, impart a distinctive saline minerality to the wine. Established in 1870 by Don Maximiano Errázuriz, Viña Errázuriz is an architect of modern Chilean viticulture.
