Hailing from the extreme, high-altitude frontier of San Pablo IG in the Uco Valley, Finca Las Cuchillas sits at an impressive 1,400 meters above sea level. Here, the cold mountain nights and intense Andean sunshine create a unique microclimate where grapes ripen slowly, retaining remarkable natural acidity. The name 'Las Cuchillas' (The Knives) pays homage to the sharp, cold winds that sweep down from the Andes and the knife-like ridges of the surrounding landscape. Sebastián Zuccardi crafts this exceptional white wine to reflect the pure, mineral-drenched identity of the estate's calcareous soils. Fermented and aged primarily in concrete vessels and large, neutral oak foudres, the wine avoids the heavy, buttery oak cliches of the past, instead delivering a chiseled, flinty, and intensely vibrant profile that redefines modern Argentine white wine.
