Born from Sebastián Zuccardi's obsessive quest to map the extreme soil variations of Paraje Altamira, Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal is a terroir-driven masterpiece. The name 'Supercal' refers to a specific, tiny parcel within the Piedra Infinita vineyard characterized by extremely shallow soils where limestone-coated alluvial stones lie just 20 to 30 centimeters below the surface. To clear this vineyard, the Zuccardi family had to move thousands of tons of calcareous stones, a monumental task that inspired the vineyard's name ('Infinite Stone'). To preserve the absolute purity of this unique, chalky terroir, the wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged entirely in concrete vessels, completely bypassing oak. This minimalist winemaking highlights a tense, vertical, and deeply mineral expression of Malbec, defined by flinty notes, chalky tannins, and electric acidity.
