โจ Technical Specifications
The 'Los Olivos' range by Familia Zuccardi pays tribute to the historic olive groves planted alongside the original vineyards in Mendoza. When founder Alberto Zuccardi first began planting vines in the 1960s, he also cultivated olive trees to demonstrate the efficacy of his innovative irrigation systems. Today, this Chardonnay captures that spirit of harmony and pioneering agriculture. Sourced from selected vineyards in Mendoza, the wine is crafted to emphasize freshness and pure varietal character. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks without oak contact, it showcases the bright, sun-drenched fruit of the region balanced by the crisp acidity gifted by cool mountain nights.
๐พ About the Producer
Founded in 1963 by Alberto Zuccardi in Mendoza, Argentina, Familia Zuccardi has evolved into one of the country's most visionary and prestigious family-owned wine dynasties. Under the leadership of Josรฉ Alberto Zuccardi and third-generation winemaker Sebastiรกn Zuccardi, the estate has shifted its focus towards high-altitude viticulture in the Uco Valley, pioneering deep geological research and unadorned concrete-vessel fermentations to express genuine site specificity. Operating state-of-the-art facilities like the acclaimed Piedra Infinita winery in Paraje Altamira, Zuccardi produces benchmark, mineral-driven Malbecs such as Finca Piedra Infinita alongside benchmark expressions of Bonarda and Cabernet Sauvignon across red, white, sparkling, and fortified categories.
