Familia Zuccardi's 'Serie A' stands for 'Serie Argentina', a portfolio designed to showcase the country's diverse microclimates and soil profiles through its signature grape varieties. For their Torrontés, Zuccardi ventures far north of their Mendoza home to the high-altitude, sun-drenched valleys of Salta, particularly Cafayate. Sitting at elevations often exceeding 1,700 meters, these vineyards experience extreme diurnal temperature shifts and intense solar radiation. This unique terroir is essential for Torrontés—an indigenous Argentine grape born from a historical crossing of Criolla Chica and Muscat of Alexandria. To preserve the grape's highly expressive, delicate aromatic profile of white flowers, citrus peel, and fresh peach, Zuccardi ferments the juice entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, avoiding any oak contact to deliver a pure, vibrant, and mineral-driven expression of the Salta Andes.

Founded in 1963 by Alberto Zuccardi in Mendoza, Argentina, Familia Zuccardi has risen to become one of the world's most visionary wine estates, currently led by third-generation winemaker Sebastián Zuccardi. Based in the high-altitude terroir of the Uco Valley, the family's state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery, Finca Piedra Infinita in Paraje Altamira, is constructed entirely from local alluvial stone and concrete. Their production philosophy centers on expressing the pure, mineral-driven identity of calcareous soils, utilizing concrete vessels and minimal oak aging to craft terroir-specific masterpieces. Renowned for world-class expressions like the single-vineyard Finca Piedra Infinita Malbec, the Aluvional series, and the elegant Emma Zuccardi Bonarda, the estate represents the pinnacle of modern Argentine viticulture. The historic estate is located at Calle Costa Canal Uco s/n, M5567 San Carlos, Mendoza, Argentina, and can be found online at https://www.zuccardivalledeuco.com.
