Famille Perrin's L'Andéol is sourced from the elevated, stony terraces of Valréas, the northernmost appellation of the Southern Rhône. This region, historically part of the Enclave des Papes—a territory acquired by the Popes of Avignon in the 14th century—benefits from a cooler microclimate that preserves acidity and imparts a distinct freshness. The cuvée is named after Saint Andéol, a 2nd-century patron saint and martyr closely tied to the early history of the Rhône Valley. Grown on clay-limestone soils rich in pebbles, the wine showcases a refined harmony between the warmth of the south and the elegance of cooler altitudes. The Perrin family employs traditional vinification, aging the wine in a combination of stainless steel and large oak foudres to highlight its vibrant red fruit, subtle spice, and mineral-driven finish.

Famille Perrin is one of the Southern Rhône Valley's most esteemed winemaking dynasties, famously anchored by the historic Château de Beaucastel estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Guided by generations of the Perrin family, the domaine became a pioneering champion of organic farming in 1950 and biodynamic viticulture in 1974 under the visionary stewardship of Jacques Perrin. Their winemaking philosophy centers on authentic terroir expression, biodiversity, and the preservation of artisanal blending traditions, famously utilizing all thirteen permitted Châteauneuf-du-Pape grape varieties with an emphasis on Mourvèdre.
