High-elevation parcels at 310 meters benefited from strong diurnal temperature swings during late August and September, preserving crucial organic acids while allowing thick-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon and Fetească Neagră to achieve ripe phenolic maturity with minimal disease pressure. The resulting wine shows firm, polished tannins alongside concentrated dark fruit density and retained structural freshness. At peak maturity in 2026, it displays excellent balance and is projected to drink well through 2029.

Hailing from the sun-drenched slopes of the IGP Valul lui Traian in southern Moldova, this red blend captures the essence of its unique terroir. The '310 Altitudine' range is named in honor of the vineyards' location at the highest points of the Tigheci Hill, reaching up to 310 meters above sea level. This elevation introduces cool night breezes that temper the warm Mediterranean-influenced climate of the region, allowing the grapes to retain vital acidity and develop complex aromatics. The 2022 vintage benefited from a warm growing season, resulting in optimal ripeness for both the structured, globally renowned Cabernet Sauvignon and the expressive, indigenous Fetească Neagră. The wine is crafted to highlight the harmonious marriage of these two grapes, balancing international power with local, rustic elegance under the protective geographical indication (IGP) standards.

Established in 1997 by the Diaconu family, Fautor Winery has risen to become one of the most decorated independent estates in Moldova. Situated in the Tigheci microzone of the Valul lui Traian Protected Geographical Indication, the estate spans over 350 hectares of vineyard at the highest elevations in southern Moldova. Here, proximity to the Codrii Tigheci forest reserve and breezes from the Prut River terraces moderate temperatures across rich chernozem and carbonate soils, yielding grapes with pronounced freshness and balanced acidity.
