✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the Borgo Guarini estate in the countryside of Trapani, Firriato's Altavilla della Corte Syrah is a superb expression of how this international grape has adapted to the Sicilian sun and soils. The name 'Altavilla' pays homage to the historic Norman Hauteville dynasty, who left an indelible mark on Sicily's cultural and architectural heritage. Cultivated on clay-loam soils under a Mediterranean climate with significant diurnal temperature shifts, the grapes undergo traditional red vinification in stainless steel followed by brief aging in oak barrels. This process preserves the vibrant dark fruit and spicy character of the Syrah while imparting a refined, velvety structure.
