Established in Reims in 1827 by the German Mumm family, House G.H. Mumm has long been synonymous with celebration and prestige, famously donning its bottles with the red sash of the French Legion of Honour. The Grand Cru bottling represents the pinnacle of the house's vineyard holdings, sourcing grapes exclusively from the historic Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. This exceptional cuvée typically highlights Pinot Noir from Verzenay, providing powerful structure and red fruit character, harmonized with elegant, mineral-driven Chardonnay from Cramant. Crafted using the traditional method and aged extensively on its lees in the house's chalk cellars, this Champagne delivers a sophisticated profile of crisp citrus, yellow stone fruits, toasted brioche, and a distinct chalky minerality that reflects its legendary terroir.

Champagne G.H. Mumm blev grundlagt i Reims i 1827 af Mumm-brødrene og deres partnere og hører til blandt de mest legendariske og fremtrædende huse i Champagne. Husets ikoniske status blev for alvor slået fast i 1876, da Georges Hermann Mumm prydede flaskerne med det berømte røde silkebånd – inspireret af Æreslegionens Grand Cordon – som et symbol på husets urokkelige motto: »Kun det bedste«. Med solide rødder i omfattende Grand Cru-besiddelser, særligt på Montagne de Reims, bygger Mumms vinstil på Pinot Noir-druens struktur, friskhed og kraftfulde karakter.
