Crafted by the visionary Languedoc producer Gérard Bertrand, the Pollinat Syrah is a vibrant tribute to the delicate balance of nature and the vital role that bees and other pollinators play in vineyard ecosystems. Sourced from the picturesque, rugged foothills of the Cévennes mountains in southern France, this wine benefits from a unique microclimate where warm Mediterranean days meet cool mountain nights. This thermal amplitude allows the Syrah grapes to ripen slowly, developing intense aromatic complexity while retaining a refreshing acidity. Established in 1992 by former French international rugby player Gérard Bertrand following the legacy of his father Georges at Domaine de Villemajou, the estate has emerged as an undisputed pioneer of fine wine in the Languedoc. Headquartered at the coastal Château l'Hospitalet within the limestone massif of La Clape, Bertrand orchestrates over 900 hectares of vineyard land across premium terroirs spanning Corbières, Minervois-La-Livinière, Terrasses du Larzac, and Limoux.
