This Syrah-Grenache blend is a vibrant tribute to the Mediterranean lifestyle and the region's ancient winemaking history, which dates back to Roman times. Sourced from sun-drenched vineyards defined by limestone, clay, and schist soils, the grapes are deeply influenced by the surrounding garrigue—the wild Mediterranean scrubland of thyme, rosemary, and lavender. Established in 1992 by former French international rugby player Gérard Bertrand following the legacy of his father Georges at Domaine de Villemajou, the estate has emerged as an undisputed pioneer of fine wine in the Languedoc.
