Established in 1886 by William Grant in the heart of Speyside, Glenfiddich remains one of the few family-owned single malt distilleries in Scotland. The Excellence 26 Year Old is a rare and luxurious expression that pays tribute to this heritage. Matured exclusively in select ex-bourbon American oak casks for over a quarter of a century, this single malt absorbs the deep, rich characters of the wood. The pristine Robbie Dhu spring water and the distillery's uniquely shaped copper pot stills, identical to those used since its founding, impart a signature fruity and floral character. Founded in 1886 by William Grant and constructed by hand with the help of his family, Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Dufftown in Scotland's renowned Speyside region. Still independently owned by William Grant & Sons, the distillery made history in 1963 by pioneering the international single malt Scotch whisky category beyond traditional blended scotch. Glenfiddich crafts its spirits using the pristine waters of the nearby Robbie Dhu springs, distilling through distinctive copper pot stills and maintaining its own on-site cooperage to oversee maturation in premium American and European oak casks.
