The Glenlivet Nàdurra Peated Cask Finish represents a captivating dialogue between Speyside elegance and Islay-inspired smoke. 'Nàdurra', translating to 'natural' in Scottish Gaelic, denotes a range crafted using traditional 19th-century techniques, bottled at cask strength and without chill-filtration to preserve its full texture and complexity. For Batch OL0715, the signature bright, orchard-fruit spirit of The Glenlivet was finished in casks that previously held heavily peated Scotch whisky. This process coaxes out a delicate, aromatic smoke that beautifully wraps around the distillery's classic notes of ripe pear, soft vanilla, and citrus. It serves as a historical nod to the early days of Speyside distilling, when peat was more commonly utilized in the malting process due to the region's remote geography.

Established in 1824 by George Smith in the remote Glenlivet valley of Speyside, Scotland, The Glenlivet is legendary as the first licensed distillery in the parish, setting the standard for Speyside single malts. Now owned by Pernod Ricard, the distillery draws its mineral-rich water from Josie's Well and utilizes lantern-shaped copper pot stills to produce a characteristically bright, elegant, and fruity spirit. The Glenlivet is globally renowned for its exceptional wood management, utilizing traditional oak, American white oak, and French Limousin oak casks to age signature expressions such as the 12 Year Old, the 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve, and the rare Winchester Collection.
