The Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling is the crown jewel of the Gunderloch estate, sourced from the legendary 'Roter Hang' (Red Slope) in Rheinhessen. This steep, south-east facing vineyard is defined by its striking, iron-rich red clay-slate soil, which was formed over 250 million years ago. This unique terroir, combined with the tempering influence of the nearby Rhine River, yields a 100% Riesling of extraordinary power, tension, and longevity.
