This rare and highly collectible bottling from the historic house of Hennessy features their celebrated Fine Champagne VSOP, a masterfully crafted blend of eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the two premier crus of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, with Grande Champagne representing at least half of the blend. Presented in an exquisite, hand-crafted crystal carafe by the legendary French glassmaker Baccarat, this release showcases the mid-20th-century artistry of both spirits blending and luxury decanter design. The eaux-de-vie are distilled primarily from Ugni Blanc grapes using traditional copper Charentais alembic stills and aged in French oak casks from the Limousin forest. The result is a remarkably harmonious Cognac, offering a rich bouquet of dried apricots, honey, toasted almonds, and delicate floral notes, underpinned by a soft, warming rancio.
