Founded in 1798 by the colorful smuggler and priest Magnus Eunson, the distillery relies on unique local peat cut from Hobbister Moor. This peat, rich in decomposed heather, imparts a gentle, aromatic, and floral smokiness rather than the medicinal brine of Islay. While Highland Park is famous for its sherry cask maturation, this rare 'Full Cask' No 67 release showcases a single bourbon barrel aging.
