Highland Park, founded in 1798 on the windswept Orkney Islands, is steeped in Viking history and rugged maritime terroir. This highly collectible Single Cask Series 'Hong Kong Edition 3' represents a rare, single-barrel expression (Cask No. 7251) aged for 13 years. Distilled from local malted barley dried over ancient Orcadian heather-rich peat, it was matured in a first-fill American oak Sherry hogshead before being bottled in 2020. The first-fill American oak Sherry cask imparts a unique profile of creamy vanilla, toasted coconut, and bright citrus peel, beautifully balancing Highland Park's signature aromatic peat smoke and heather-honey sweetness. This release celebrates the distillery's legendary craftsmanship and the deep connection between Orkney's wild climate and slow, traditional maturation.
