Distilled from local malted barley dried over ancient Orcadian heather-rich peat, it was matured in a first-fill American oak Sherry hogshead before being bottled in 2020. The first-fill American oak Sherry cask imparts a unique profile of creamy vanilla, toasted coconut, and bright citrus peel, beautifully balancing Highland Park's signature aromatic peat smoke and heather-honey sweetness.
