This unique method involves slowly dripping the freshly distilled spirit through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before it enters charred white oak barrels. For the Single Barrel expression, Master Distillers select only the top one percent of barrels, situated in the highest reaches of the aging houses where extreme temperature swings force the whiskey deeper into the wood.
