Unlike traditional wines, this spirit does not mature further in the bottle. It is bottled at its peak maturity and is ready to be enjoyed immediately upon release, remaining stable indefinitely when stored upright in a cool, dark place.

✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, established in 1866, the Single Barrel Select represents the pinnacle of the Lincoln County Process. This unique method involves slowly dripping the freshly distilled spirit through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before it enters charred white oak barrels. For the Single Barrel expression, Master Distillers select only the top one percent of barrels, situated in the highest reaches of the aging houses where extreme temperature swings force the whiskey deeper into the wood. This coaxes out rich, concentrated notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel, offering a singular snapshot of Tennessee whiskey heritage.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Established in 1866 by Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, the Jack Daniel Distillery stands as the oldest registered distillery in the United States. Situated at the pristine Cave Spring Hollow, the distillery utilizes iron-free cave spring water and a distinct mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley. The signature of their production is the Lincoln County Process, where the newly distilled spirit is slowly drop-by-drop mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in handcrafted white oak barrels. This meticulous craftsmanship yields their world-renowned Tennessee Whiskey, celebrated through iconic expressions such as Old No. 7, Gentleman Jack, and their Single Barrel collection.
