The Clos Sainte-Anne is a historic walled vineyard and a celebrated Monopole belonging exclusively to Maison Jaffelin. Situated on the prestigious clay-limestone slopes of the Beaune appellation, this Premier Cru climat benefits from an ideal microclimate that coaxes optimal ripeness and complexity from the vines. The name of the clos pays homage to Saint Anne, echoing the deep spiritual and agricultural heritage of Burgundy where monastic orders originally mapped and nurtured these exceptional terroirs. Hand-harvested grapes are brought to the historic 12th-century cellars of the Chapter of Notre-Dame in Beaune, where they undergo traditional gravity-flow vinification. The wine is aged in French oak casks, resulting in a classic Beaune Premier Cru that beautifully balances vibrant red fruit aromas, delicate floral notes, and a refined, earthy structure.

Founded in 1816 by brothers Charles and Henri Jaffelin, Maison Jaffelin is celebrated as the smallest among Burgundy's historic négociant houses, located in the ancient center of Beaune. The estate ages its wines in remarkable 12th-century vaulted cellars originally built by the Canons of the Collégiale Notre-Dame. Operating on an artisanal, small-batch scale, the house employs gentle, gravity-fed vinification to preserve the pure expression and distinctive character of each climats across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Jaffelin is renowned for its elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay selections, ranging from the emblematic Cuvée des Chanoines to distinguished Premier and Grand Cru bottlings, alongside fine Crémant de Bourgogne.
