Kerloo Cellars' Grenache represents a thoughtful, terroir-driven expression of Washington State's Columbia Valley, particularly utilizing fruit from esteemed, cooler-climate sites like the Boushey Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Winemaker Ryan Crane champions a low-intervention, old-world-inspired philosophy that coaxes out the grape's more delicate, aromatic, and mineral-driven qualities rather than pursuing heavy extraction. Often utilizing whole-cluster fermentation and aging in neutral French oak or concrete vessels, this wine showcases a translucent ruby hue, vibrant acidity, and a complex bouquet of wild strawberries, white pepper, and dried herbs. It stands as a testament to the versatility of Washington terroir, offering a style that bridges the gap between the elegance of Pinot Noir and the rustic charm of Southern Rhône reds.

Kerloo Cellars blev grundlagt i 2007 af vinmageren Ryan Crane i Washington States berømte Walla Walla Valley. Her fremstiller vinhuset håndværksvine med udpræget terroirpræg, som hylder de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Filosofien bygger på minimal intervention, afdæmpet brug af egetræ og spontangæring med naturlig gær, hvor Crane stræber efter at fremhæve den rene, levende frugtkarakter fra anerkendte parceller i Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley.
