Kerloo Cellars' Sauvignon Blanc is a brilliant showcase of Ryan Crane's minimalist winemaking philosophy, offering a textured, mineral-driven expression that stands apart from more tropical New World styles. Sourced primarily from the cooler, high-elevation sites of the Yakima Valley—most notably the legendary Boushey Vineyard—the fruit benefits from dramatic diurnal temperature shifts that preserve its electric, natural acidity. To build complexity and a refined mouthfeel without sacrificing freshness, Crane employs a combination of concrete egg fermentation and neutral French oak aging. This technique coaxes out a flinty, wet-stone minerality and a beautiful weight on the palate, paying homage to the classic, soil-expressive Sauvignon Blancs of the Loire Valley while retaining a distinct Washington State identity.

Established in 2007 by winemaker Ryan Crane in the renowned Walla Walla Valley of Washington State, Kerloo Cellars crafts artisanal, site-expressive wines that celebrate the Pacific Northwest's premier terroirs.
