✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the sun-drenched, terraced hills of Goriška Brda, Peneca Rebula Brut is a vibrant celebration of Slovenia's most cherished indigenous white grape, Rebula (Ribolla Gialla). The grape has defined the region's viticultural identity since medieval times, thriving in the unique 'opoka' marl soils. Crafted using the Charmat method to preserve the grape's natural vivacity, this sparkling wine captures the breezy intersection of the Adriatic Sea and the Julian Alps. It represents a modern expression of local heritage, where the cooperative's families hand-harvest the steep slopes to create a sparkling wine defined by its bright acidity, delicate floral aromas, and signature touch of pleasant almond bitterness on the finish.
