Distilled in 1979 and matured for three decades in a single oak cask (Cask No. 113) before being bottled in 2009, this ultra-rare expression showcases the majestic transformation of Lagavulin's spirit over time. The distillery's signature slow distillation in pear-shaped stills and coastal warehouse aging on the shores of Lagavulin Bay have softened the intense, youthful peat smoke into an incredibly complex, elegant tapestry.
